Abdulrahman M. Al Hatlan is the Director of Strategic Procurement and Logistics Department in Aramco Asia. In this role, Mr. Al Hatlan is responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations in all Aramco Asia offices; China, Japan, S. Korea, India and Singapore, including the material procurement for cross-company of Saudi Aramco and for Aramco Asia as well as services contracting. He is also responsible for the localization and in-Kingdom Total Value Add program promotion to the Asian markets, and the materials logistics movements from Asian countries to Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Al Hatlan has over 24 years’ experience in Saudi Aramco, primarily in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (P&SCM) organization. He has long experience in procurement business, and then took leadership positions in several business, including Projects Procurement, Strategic Procurement, Uthmanyah Material Services, Facilities Engineering & Support, Material & Services Standardization, etc.
Mr. Al Hatlan has experienced different international assignments. He completed an out-of-kingdom 8-month GE Power System Training Program held in Schenectady, New York, and worked as procurement rep for the most successful grassroots mega project managed by Saudi Aramco; Manifa program, Oil Processing Project in both phases FEED & LSTK with Foster Wheler, UK and Saipem, Italy.
Mr. Al Hatlan holds Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
