Shipyards keen to upgrade a critical floating production, storage and offloading vessel have just weeks to respond to a just-published market inquiry.

Cenovus Energy’s SeaRose FPSO is currently producing oil and gas from the White Rose field offshore Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada, but needs a major revamp if it is to stay on location for many more years.

As a result, the operator is starting a process to pre-qualify suitable yards able to undertake this vital work in 2024.
