Robert Yang，Procurement Director Asia, Goods & Service Procurement, Arkema

Robert joined Arkema as a Procurement Director in 2014 and has been responsible for Goods & Service Procurement in Asia. Hebrings more than 25 years of experience in procurement activities, both in terms of operating expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX).

Prior to joining Arkema, Robertheld various senior purchasing manager positions at multiple multinational companies including Veolia, Bayer, and Akzo Nobel.With deep understanding in supply chain management, he has gained extensive experience in procurement strategy establishment, suppler management, cost control, and contract management, etc…

Since Arkema joined TfS, Robert has served as the chair of workstream 1 (Governance and Partnerships) and workstream 4 (Communications and Suppliers Training). Exemplified bythese positions, Robert is actively committed to promoting the sustainable development of the chemical industry. In February, 2021, Robert was elected Chairman of TfS Asia-Pacific.

Robert holds MBA degree from Fudan-BI (Fudan University and Norwegian Business School) MBA program. He further obtained senior executive training programin 2010 from the Diploma In Management Program (DIMP) atChina-Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
