Event Updates » BP Procurement Head to Lead Order Delegation at CSSOPE Oman Sourcing Summit to Connect with Chinese Suppliers

Recently, global energy giant BP and CSSOPE Organizing Committee confirmed their participation in the "CSSOPE OMAN 2025-China Sourcing Summit On Petroleum & Chemical Equipment" to be held in Muscat, Oman on May 14, 2025. BP's procurement leadership will bring substantial orders to this CSSOPE Oman event, targeting Chinese suppliers to inject momentum into industry development.

BP has operated in Oman since 2007 as a major investor, supporting the country's sustainable development through local company partnerships. BP Oman has a long history in Middle East oil and gas exploration/production. Phase 1 of Block 61 Khazzan began production in 2017, while Phase 2 of Ghazeer Block started operations in October 2020. Combined, these produce 1.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas and over 60,000 barrels of condensate daily, meeting ~35% of Oman's total gas demand.

As a leading petrochemical exhibition platform, CSSOPE Oman Sourcing Session brings together cutting-edge supply-demand information. The BP-China supplier collaboration represents a convergence of advanced technology and market demand. Chinese suppliers stand to leverage their precision manufacturing and efficient capacities to enter BP's global supply chain, secure significant orders, and elevate their international brand influence.

This mutually beneficial opportunity marks the starting point for global energy giants and Chinese industrial forces to co-develop sustainable solutions. We anticipate Chinese suppliers seizing this chance to engage BP procurement leaders in Oman, driving win-win partnerships that will enhance "Made in China" prominence across the global energy landscape.

In an era of accelerating global energy transformation, Oman's energy sector continues robust growth with major project achievements, positioning it as an industry focal point. The CSSOPE OMAN 2025 Summit will convene energy elites worldwide to explore innovative development pathways and foster international cooperation.
